Description

Crownland Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th century and possibly earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and an additional storey in the attic. The main range, which is from the late 16th century, consists of two bays and features a central chimney stack. At the south end, there is a former crosswing that has a half hipped roof. The house has a range of 19th-century casement windows, with one chimney stack from the late 16th century and another that is later and made of red brick.
