Description

The Forester's Arms is a public house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a grey slate roof. The building has two storeys and a three-window range with 19th-century vertical sliding sash windows. A moulded and dentilled cornice with a parapet sits above the windows. The entrance has a late 19th-century red brick pedimented door surround, which includes pilasters and a foliated tympanum. The original chimney stacks are located at the end walls.
