Description

The Tharp Arms is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted local brick and features a pantiled roof with an outshut at the rear. The building stands three storeys tall and has parapet gables along with a dentil eaves cornice. There are end stacks and a rear stack. On the second floor, there are three four-paned casement windows, while the first floor has two casement windows set in segmental arches. The ground floor also features two similar windows. The entrance consists of a half-glazed door topped with a fanlight that has glazing bars, all set within a round-headed brick arch.
