Description

No. 36 High Street is an early 17th-century farmhouse. It is timber-framed and plastered, with painted brick on the first floor and a plain tile roof. The house features a large ridge stack, which has had its top courses rebuilt. It has a two-unit, lobby entry plan and stands two storeys tall. The main entrance is located on the south-west side, accessed through a modern porch. There is one casement window on the first floor and two fixed light windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. The building extends to the north-west by one bay and was originally connected to Manor Farmhouse.
