Description
The Bridge Inn is a public house built around 1790. It features painted brickwork and a hipped plain tiled roof. The building is three stories tall and has three bays, with a central six-panelled door set in a pedimented case. The lower windows date from the late 19th or early 20th century and are adorned with architraves and console brackets supporting an entablature. The upper windows are flush framed sashes, with 12 panes on the first floor and 9 panes in the attic. The first-floor windows have flat arched stuccoed heads, which include channelled voussoirs and a keystone. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the top, and the chimney stacks are located towards the rear of the roof.
