Description

Nos. 2 and 3 New Street are a pair of houses, currently used as an office, built around 1800. They are constructed of brick and feature a plain tiled roof. The buildings are three stories high and consist of three bays, with paired central doorways set in a recently renewed pedimented case. The flanking windows are corbelled bows, which have also been renewed. The upper windows are flush framed 12-pane sashes with segmentally arched incised stuccoed heads, while the central windows are blind. The structure is topped with a modillion eaves cornice and has gable end stacks.
