Description

No. 16 New Street is a house, now used as offices, dating from around 1800. It features lined-out stucco over brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is three stories high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a five-panelled door with a traceried fanlight, set in a pedimented case supported by Doric columns and topped with a flat entablature. The windows are 16-pane sash windows, each with flat arched stuccoed heads that include voussoirs and keystones. The building is finished with a modillion eaves cornice and has gable end stacks.
