Description
The White Swan Public House is a public house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick featuring flared headers and has a clay tile roof. The building has a three-room plan and stands two storeys tall. On the ground floor, there are three later 19th-century sash windows, while the first floor has three earlier sash windows with glazing bars, all set under gauged brick flat arches. Between the two right-hand sash windows on the first floor, there is a blind window. The left side features a part-glazed door from the 20th century, while the right side has a plain 20th-century door within its original moulded surround, topped with an open pediment supported by cut brackets. A brick dentil cornice runs along the eaves, and there are integral red brick stacks at both gable ends.
