Description
Nos 21 and 23 Northbridge Street are two houses with shops on the ground floor, likely dating from the 18th century. They have been refronted in brick in the 19th century and are colorwashed. The properties feature a 20th-century tiled roof and have a total of four rooms across two storeys. Each house has 19th-century shopfronts in the left-hand bay. There are sash windows on the ground floor right-hand bay of No. 21 and on the first floor of both houses. No. 21 has a part-glazed six-panel door beneath a flat hood supported by cut brackets, while No. 23 has a glazed door next to the shopfront and a cart entrance in the right-hand bay.
