Description
Nos 7 and 9 Northbridge Street are two houses dating from the 18th century, featuring a colourwashed brick exterior that covers a timber-framed structure from the 17th century. The houses have a tiled roof and a three-room plan, arranged over two storeys. There is a variety of windows, with three on each floor; the right-hand windows are sashes with glazing bars, while the others are casements also with glazing bars. The houses have two part-glazed doors, each topped with flat hoods supported by cut brackets. A brick band runs along the first floor level, and there is a dentil eaves cornice on the two right-hand bays. A red brick double ridge stack is present on the roof.
