Description
Nos. 4 and 6 Feasegate are two houses with shops, built around 1840, featuring 20th-century shopfronts. They are constructed of grey-brown mottled brick in Flemish bond, with boxed eaves supported by paired modillions and a brick stack rising from a slate roof. The exterior has a three-storey, four-window front. The shopfront for No. 4 includes an upstairs access door located beneath a vented grille. All upper floor windows are 12-pane sashes, except for the first floor of No. 4, which has 1-pane sashes. The windows have painted stone sills and slightly cambered arches. The interior has not been inspected.
