Description
19, 20, and 21 Parliament Street are three houses with shops built between 1836 and 1839, featuring 20th-century alterations and shopfronts. They are constructed from pink-grey mottled brick in Flemish bond, topped with a slate roof and four brick stacks.
The exterior is four stories high with a three-window front. The first and second floors have 1-pane sash windows on the left and 12-pane sash windows on the right. The third floor features unequal 9-pane sashes. Each floor has painted stone sill bands that extend around the right front, and all windows have flat arches made of brick.
On the Feasegate front, there is a four-storey, four-window layout with a canted corner bay. The shopfront on the left continues from Parliament Street, while an inserted shop window is located on the right. The upper floor windows consist of 12-pane sashes or unequal 9-pane sashes, all with flat arches, and some have small-pane lights added. The windows in the corner bay are blind. The interior has not been inspected.
