Description

No. 28 North Lane is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and a thatched roof. The cottage is 1½ storeys high, consisting of two bays and a central smokebay. Each bay has a three-light casement window, while there is a two-light casement window in the eyebrow dormer above the smokebay. The roof is half-hipped and includes a central chimney stack.
