It features a timber-frame structure with colourwashed brick infill and some rebuilding. The cottage has two wide bays and a central smoke bay, with lean-tos at each end. There is a 20th-century 'Tudor' door located in the smoke bay, which is sheltered by a flat hood. Each side of the cottage has a three-light casement window, along with a small two-light casement window near the right end and another three-light casement window in the right outshot. Above the right bay, there is a large gabled dormer that contains a four-light casement window, and above the door, there is a two-light casement window in a gabled dormer. The roof is half-hipped and features a multi-flued 17th-century stack above the door, as well as a projecting stack on the end of the right lean-to.
