Description

No. 5 Pound Street is a cottage that is part of a row and dates back to the 17th century, although it has been altered over time. The building is timber framed with colourwashed brick infill on the ground floor. It features an old tile roof with a chimney located at the back and has two small gabled dormers at the front. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic and consists of two bays that have three-light upper casements with leaded windows. There is a boarded door to the right of the centre, a four-light wooden casement to the left, and a three-light casement to the right.
