Description
Nos. 13, 15, and 17 Pound Street are a row of three cottages dating from the 17th century, which have been altered over time. The cottages are timber framed with colourwashed brick infill and a thatched roof, which is slightly higher at No. 13. There are three brick chimneys. The buildings are 1 and a half storeys tall; No. 13 features two three-light leaded upper casements that are linked under a continuous raising of the eaves into the thatch. Nos. 15 and 17 have three eaves dormers, with two of them having leaded glazing and a wooden casement in the right-hand bay. The ground floor has three boarded doors and four, three, and two-light leaded casements, with segmental arched heads on Nos. 15 and 17. There is a one-storey lower addition to No. 17, which is made of brick and has an old tiled roof with one two-light leaded casement.
