No. 7 Pound Street is a cottage from the 18th century, part of a row of similar buildings. It is constructed of painted brick and features an old tiled roof that has a shallower pitch than the adjoining roofs. There is a brick chimney on the right-hand side and a small gabled dormer with a leaded casement window. The building has a moulded brick eaves cornice and is two storeys tall with an attic. The front has two bays, each with two-light leaded upper casements. On the ground floor, there is a door on the left-hand side in a heavy frame, a two-light casement window in the centre, and a projecting square bay on the right with a lean-to tiled roof. This bay has two barred windows and a brick pier on the right side.
