Description

This is an 18th-century barn located 10 meters west of Mount Pleasant Farmhouse. It features a timber-frame structure weatherboarded on a brick plinth, topped with an old plain tile roof, and has one gable made of brick. The barn consists of five bays and has an outshot on the roadside, which includes a central gabled midstray porch with double doors. The left end of the barn is made of brick, while the right end has a cartshed constructed from weatherboard and corrugated iron. Inside, the barn has a Queen-strut roof with braces connecting the tiebeams to the wallplate.
