Description

These are a pair of thatched cottages. They have a 17th-century timber-frame core, which was encased in brick during the early 18th century, with later 18th-century extensions. The cottages are two bays wide, with additional outshot bays added at each end. A 20th-century door is set within a solid segmental head frame, and there is a two-light segmental casement window in the centre bays. To the right of the centre bays is a straight joint, alongside a two-light casement and a single light window set under the eaves. Above the centre bays is an eyebrow dormer containing a two or three-light casement. The roof is hipped and sweeps down to the right, with a ridge piece. A stack is located above the straight joint, and there is a projecting stack on the left hip.
