Description

Old Cottages is a pair of cottages that were originally a single house, dating from the 18th century with an earlier core. The building is constructed of brick and has an old plain tile roof. It is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays, with a fourth bay added to the left. There is a 20th-century half-glazed door in the left of the left of the centre and right bays, accompanied by a two-light casement window beside it. To the right of the centre bay, there is a four-light casement window with a segmental head. A raised brick band runs at the first-floor level of the right bay. Each bay features a 20th-century two-light flat-roofed dormer. The roof is half-hipped, with a ridge stack at the right end of the older part, a small stack in the centre, and another stack at the right end.
