Description

The Kings Arms Public House dates from the mid-18th century. It is a brick building with an old plain tile roof, and features a hip roof with end stacks. The main section is two storeys and three bays wide, with a two-bay projection on the left side and a lean-to addition on the right. A central, hip-roofed porch of the 20th century has a planked door. The ground floor has a 16-pane sash window under a rubbed brick arch on the front elevation, and to the left a large two-light casement window and a bricked-up doorway. The first floor has three 16-pane sash windows. A dentilled cornice runs along the top of the building. The right-hand lean-to has a flat roof, a 12-pane sash window, and a planked door.
