Description

Riverside Cottage is a pair of early 19th-century houses with later 20th-century rear extensions. The building is situated in Barton Stacey and Bransbury. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a flush first-floor band of brindle brick headers. The roof is hipped and features eyebrow dormers with cills at eaves level. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with three windows above and five below. It contains casement windows, some of which are original, and two plain boarded doors. A central stone plaque is inscribed with “Restored 1900 R.K.H.”
