Description

Bransbury Manor is a house built in 1791. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped tile roof. The symmetrical front, facing east, has two storeys and three windows. The red brick walling is laid in Flemish bond and includes rubbed flat arches, with a round arch above the central full-height recess. The windows are triple sashes, with the upper centre window being a lunette. The entrance has a Doric doorcase with a dentil pediment, carved brackets, and a six-panelled door, two of which are glazed. The other sides of the house have cambered openings and casement windows. The brickwork is incised with "WD 1791".
