Description

Bransbury Mill is a former mill that has been adapted into a dwelling, with construction dating from the early 19th century and early 20th century. The building is made of brick and features a tile roof. The main mill block is two storeys tall with an attic, and has a half-hipped roof on the south side, along with two gabled dormers. There is a high door next to a small gibbet-crane, and the windows are casements. The plain doorway now has a gabled hood. Later additions from around 1900 include larger windows, some with splayed bays supported by brackets, and a two-storey octagonal window with an adjoining balcony. Water is channeled beneath a flattened arch on the south side.
