Description

SU 2936 NETHER WALLOP FIVE BELLS LAND

10/17 Barn 50m SW of Broadgate 29.5.57 Farm House GV II Barn. Early C18. Timber-frame, weatherboarded, on brick plinth, corrugated iron roof. End onto road 6 bay barn on ground sloping away from road, aisled on side away from farmyard with outshots on farmyard side. Outer side has indented double doors in 3rd bay from road end and aisle to rest. Roof half- hipped. Inside queen lost roof having cambered ties with curved braces and small braces to aisle wallplate and windbraces. Aislepost on baseplates on brick plinths and ties from posts to top of wall.
