Description

This building is a barn located about 20 metres southeast of Bank Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame set on a rubble plinth, and features weatherboarding that is partly patched with corrugated iron, topped by a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of three bays, with the gable end built into the slope and a cowhouse situated under the southern bay.

The framing includes single large rectangular panels at the wall-plate, supported by straight tension braces. The intermediate trusses are designed with cranked raking struts.
