Description

This building is a bank barn located about 25 metres north of Greenway Farmhouse. It dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The barn is constructed with a timber frame that originally featured woven infill but is now covered with weatherboarding. It stands on a rubble plinth and has a rubble base, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of four framed bays, with the western end lofted and featuring low entries at the gable end. The other three bays contain a central threshing floor. The framing includes three square panels in height, and the north entry to the threshing floor is chamfered and has stops. The interior was not visible during the survey conducted in August 1984.
