Barn. Circa late C17 or early C18. Timber-framed on low stone plinth, with brick infill panels to lower part and weatherboarding above; old horizontal broad boards on one side. Clay plain tile roof. PLAN: 3 bays with opposing cart entrances to threshing floor in central bay. EXTERIOR: Boarded double doors at centre of front and back. Small later stone and brick outshut at one end. INTERIOR: The central threshing bay has framed divisions on either side on low brick walls. Slightly jowled posts, some cut jowls. 3-bay tie-beam and queen-strut roof structure and two tiers of tenoned or trenched purlins and ridge-piece; common rafter couples largely intact.
