Description

Manor Farm House is an 18th-century building with later additions, situated in Astley Abbots. The structure is primarily brick, with a tiled roof and brick stacks at each end. Externally, it features three modern or restored casement windows with cambered heads and modern shutters, along with two modern five-light wooden bow windows containing glazing bars. A restored wooden doorcase is present, incorporating a pediment and a traceried fanlight, leading to steps. The eaves have dentil detailing, and the roof is covered in old tiles. Inside, a bedroom contains significant early 18th-century wall paintings recently uncovered, depicting birds within foliage and a stag hunt. Timber framing is partly visible internally.
