Description
The Plough is a house that dates from the 17th century, with an extension added in the early 18th century and some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with rendered infill and a graduated stone tile roof. The building consists of two parallel ranges, each with two bays, aligned east to west, with the northern range being from the 18th century. There is a gable-end rubble stack on the east end of the 17th-century range. The south front has one storey with a gable-lit attic, and the ground floor includes two 3-light 20th-century casement windows. The entrance is located at the extreme right, accessed through an 18th-century lean-to. Inside, the property has exposed chamfered and stopped beams.
