Description

Coutts Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and an extension from the 20th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a thatched roof. The original 17th-century part consists of three bays and is one and a half stories high, while a 20th-century wing extends from the rear. The front of the cottage has a 20th-century two or three-light casement window in each bay, and there are three two-light eyebrow dormers. A stack is located on the ridge to the left of the center, and there is a lean-to on the left end, with the 20th-century wing designed to match the original style.
