Description
This pair of lodges and gates to West Park, dating from the early 19th century, features rendered brick construction with a lead roof and wrought iron railings. The lodges are single-bay octagonal buildings, with two sides longer than the others, connected by 3 meters of railings and a 3-meter gate, along with additional railings. The front of each lodge has a plinth and a recessed arch containing a 12-pane camber-head sash window. Above this, there is a slightly pedimented parapet, and the angled faces of the lodges have niches. On the inner side, there is a six-flush-panel door and a pier from which the railings extend. The gate is of rectangular frame design, featuring one diagonal and two circular elements with vertical members passing through them.
