Description
The Priory is a house that may date back to the 16th or 17th century, with remodels from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It features a painted brick and rendered older section, with a plain tile roof and part weatherboarding. The building has a T-shaped plan with one and a half stories, and a central wing that projects forward.
On the right side, there is an 18th-century section that is two stories high and has three bays, which has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. This section includes a central square-plan staircase wing that projects, and to the left, there is a weatherboarded porch wing that also projects. The front of the 18th-century part has an open ground floor in the left bay, with a door and windows below, and an oriel window. The central staircase bay features a tall window, while the right bay has 19th-century triple pointed windows and a first-floor bay.
There is an external stack at the right end with 19th-century diamond-shaped shafts, as well as a stack at the left end and on the side of the left wing. The left side has 20th-century infill on the right side of the central wing, with two-light casements, one of which is in the gable. There is also a stack at the left end.
