Description

Shearings is a small house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, along with a single-storey, two-bay addition. The front of the house includes a central porch with a tiled roof, which is a 20th-century addition, and a plank door. There are three-light casement windows, and near the right-hand end, there is a single fireplace light. The left-hand addition has three-light windows. The house has end stacks and a half-hipped roof.
