Description

Staddle Stones is a cottage, originally two dwellings, with a core dating back to the 16th century that was remodeled in the 18th and 20th centuries. The structure features a cruck timber-frame core encased in brick and has a thatched roof. It is a five-bay, two-storey building. The central bay has a right-hand plank door beneath a thatch hood, with a blocked door to the left-hand side. The windows are mainly 20th-century casements, either two or five lights. There is a stack at the right-hand end, and the cruck frame is exposed at the left-hand end.
