Description
Glebe Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and restoration in the 20th century. It features a cruck timber-frame structure with brick infill and rebuilding, topped with a thatched roof. The building is L-shaped, consisting of a three-bay cruck section and a two-bay wing that projects forward from one end. It is one and a half stories tall and sits on a plinth. The front of the cottage has a 20th-century porch with a swept-down roof at the center bay. The left-hand bay includes a two-light casement window, while above the porch is a two-light dormer with a sloping roof. The wing has an external stack at the end and features a three-light casement window with a single light above it. The roof is hipped.
