Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a 16th-century cottage that was altered in the 18th century and restored in 1985. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill and a thatched roof. The cottage has three bays and is one storey high, with the end facing the road. A 20th-century hipped glazed porch is located between the central bay and the far bay. The road-facing bay has a half-glazed door, and there are 20th-century two or three-light casements in each bay. Above the end bay, there is a five-light eyebrow dormer, and a wide eyebrow dormer in the center features two and three-light casements. The roof is hipped at the far end, with a ridge stack located at the road end and above the porch.
