Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century, with some infill from the 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill and a thatched roof. The cottage is one and a half storeys high and consists of three bays, plus an added half bay. The front of the cottage has a door located to the right of the centre bay. There are 20th-century three-light leaded casements in each bay, and the added half bay on the left has a two-light casement. Above the centre and left bays, there are two-light casements set in eyebrow dormers. The roof is half-hipped, with a ridge piece and a stack positioned above the right side of the left bay. At the rear, there is a tiled brick lean-to.
