Description

This is a barn located immediately north of Yew Tree Cottage, dating from the 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded and sits on a brick plinth, topped with a roof made of brick and asbestos sheets. The barn has five bays, with two bays constructed of brick that are blank on the roadside. The opposite side includes a central stable door with a loft dormer above it, flanked by slatted windows on each side. There are stable doors in the weatherboarded bays, and the roof is hipped at that end. This barn is included for its group value.
