Description

Gamekeepers Cottage and Woodlands Cottage are a pair of 18th-century cottages located in Rockbourne, known as The Marsh. They are constructed from rendered cob with weatherboarded lean-tos and feature a thatched roof. The cottages are positioned end-on to the road and each stands two stories tall with two bays. At each end, there are small store hip-bays. Each cottage has a central door set within a simple porch, flanked by large single casement windows, and there are 2-light eyebrow dormers above. The road-facing cottage has a door in the road bay, and the stores have their own doors. The roof is hipped, with a ridge stack located in the center and at the end of the cottages.
