Description

Laurel and Pondside Cottages are a terrace of two small cottages, originally three, dating from the 17th century and early 19th century. The cottages feature walls of painted brickwork and some boarding, topped with a thatched roof and eyebrow dormers. They are timber-framed buildings that have been re-clad at a later date. The north front is one storey with an attic, displaying a symmetrical arrangement of two windows above one window. The windows are small casements, and there are two boarded doors, with Laurel Cottage featuring a projecting glazed porch. These cottages are included for their group value.
