Description

68 George Street is a tall stuccoed building dating from around 1840. It features a heavy moulded cornice and parapet, standing four storeys high and two windows wide. The first and second floors have two two-storeyed canted bays with sash windows, each topped with heavy moulded cornices. On the third floor, there are two three-light sash windows set in segmental arch openings with keyblocks. The ground floor has a large 19th-century double shop front with a projecting fascia.
