Description

50 George Street is an early to mid-19th century building. It is stuccoed with a raised parapet and a tiled hipped roof. The building is four storeys high and one bay wide. The first and second floors feature a canted bay with a cornice, and sash windows without glazing bars. The third floor has a tripartite sash window without glazing bars. The ground floor currently contains a modern shop front with a bowed fascia. The building is included on the list for its group value alongside other listed buildings in George Street.
