14 Palace Gate is an early to mid-19th century building with a stucco front. It stands three storeys high and features two windows, which are sashes, although most have had their glazing bars removed. The entrance includes a six-panel door with raised and fielded panels, topped by a rectangular light. The building has a cornice and a slate roof.
