Description

No. 67 South Street is a three-storey building with a timber-framed plastered front, likely dating from the early 17th century. The first floor features a continuous mullioned window, with an eight-light oriel window in the center and four lights on each side. The window has moulded mullions and transoms, and the glazing is made of lead. On the second floor, there are two six-light oriel windows supported by brackets. The ground floor is a modern shop. The building has a slate roof and contains a two-flight 17th-century staircase. The front room on the first floor has a ceiling divided longitudinally by beams, with floral motifs in the corners arranged diagonally. Nos. 58 to 68 South Street form a group with this building.
