Description

This is a late 18th-century pair of houses located on Hill Street. The houses are built of painted brick, with the upper floors of number 11 being tile-hung. They have a tiled hipped roof and four storeys, with a two-window frontage. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; the third-floor window of number 10 is a two-light sash. The left and right doorways are framed by moulded architraves. Number 10 has a modern hood supported by brackets and flush-panelled reveals to the doorway with a rectangular fanlight and a flush-panelled door. Number 11 has a partly glazed, flush-panelled door with a moulded cornice above. Numbers 8 to 12 (consec) and number 12A form a group.
