Description

1 and 1A Oak Passage are an early 19th century pair of adjoining cottages. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung. The cottages have a low-pitched slate hipped roof and are two storeys tall. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars; the left window is small and narrow, while the center window is larger than the right-hand window. The ground floor features one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars, a larger fixed-light window with glazing bars that is partially blocked, and two flush-panelled doors, with the door for No 1A having a segmental brick head.
