Description

47 Abinger Place is a pair of cottages from the early 19th century. The building features cobbled walls with red brick dressings on the ground floor and tile-hung walls on the first floor. It has low pitched slate roofs with brick stacks located to the left and in the center. The left part of the cottage is two storeys high with a two-window front, featuring glazing bar sashes. There is a boarded door off-centre to the right, along with another boarded door below to the right. The right part of the cottage is similar, with a single casement window on the ground floor to the left and a single shop front to the right that includes an inset door at the angle of the building.
