Description

Nos 1 and 2 Mount Pleasant is a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They feature painted mathematical tiles and a slate roof, with brick stacks at both ends. The buildings are three storeys high and have a two-window front with glazing bar sashes. On the corner of the block to the left, there is a shop front that includes a wide casement window on the ground floor to the right. The entrances in the centre are paired and recessed, each with pilastered surrounds and cornice hoods above.
