No. 4 Mount Pleasant is an early 19th-century house constructed with painted mathematical tiles. It features a wooden eaves soffit supported by paired brackets and has a slate roof with a brick chimney stack on the right. The building has three storeys and a single window front, with glazing bar sashes; the window on the second floor is shallower than those on the lower floors. To the left, there is a panelled door set in a recessed entrance, which has a moulded round-arched surround complete with key- and impost blocks, as well as a fanlight above.
